Between my trip to Target today and to Harris Teeter all week, my freezer is bursting at the seams.
Harris Teeter is having Super Doubles (doubling coupons up to $1.98)and they having a promo going on with Green Giant vegetables as well.
Target, in some regions, is having a special that when you buy ANY 7 frozen food items you receive a $5.00 gift card. If you visit Target's website you can print off some good coupons to use in addition to this sale. I bought several bags of frozen vegetables and single serve burritos today and used coupons to score $10 in gift cards off of 7 items. Check your ad because some areas have buy 6 items receive a frozen food grocery bag instead of the gift card deal.

It's Mega Swagbucks Day

Today is Mega Swagbucks Day! So be sure to head over to Swagbucks and complete any internet searches there. You could earn up to 100 points on a single search. I won 56 points two Fridays ago while completing a search.

You can redeem your Swagbucks for various rewards as you accumulate enough points. So far this year, I have redeemed almost enough points to buy a new wafflemaker from Amazon. My favorite prize to redeem for is the $5 for 450 points.

If you don't have an account at Swagbucks, sign up today. This is a free program and you can use it to earn gift cards that you can use to pay for presents. Every little bit helps.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Even though I am starting today off after 1 hour of sleep, due to a sick baby who I am really praying does not have bronchitis, it is supposed to be in the high 60s today and I am excited.
I got my girls a Rapunzel table and chairs set that transforms in to a tower at the Target Toy clearance in January ($12) and they were thrilled when they came downstairs this morning and saw it. I had gotten hubby some M&Ms and a 4 pack of Starbucks bottled drinks and a great card I made for free at Tiny Prints, using coupons for these items made the total $3.00. So for $15, I made them all pretty happy and didn't blow my budget. I made french toast in the shape of hearts with strawberries and powdered sugar for breakfast and we are heading to the beach to enjoy the warm weather.
Here are some Valentine's treats for you though.
Check your March edition of Parents magazine or Babytalk if you get them. I found a coupon in mine for $10 off any purchase in the baby store at Amazon. I am now just waiting to find a good deal to get free organic snacks or something else we might need.
Check Yobaby's Facebook page at 12 EST today for exciting news, hopefully a good coupon or a freebie.

Pinkalicious goes Platinum

Well, close enough. If you love the Pinkalicious books you will be just as excited as we are about the release of the latest book Silverlicious. We are always looking for fun things to do with our girls and today we will be heading to Borders for a free event.
Check your local Borders to be sure they are participating in the Silverlicious celebration today. There will be games, giveaways, and a Pinkalicious parade. This begins at 2pm at participating stores on Saturday, February 12th (today).
If you think you might buy something while you are there, print out this coupon for 40% off any item.

Many local stores offer free events for kids. Lowes has a great program offered every other week where you can sign up to build something. My husband and daughter enjoy these events. In my area you have to sign up quickly though as they fill up.

Help me, Mommy Friends!

So I have a stubborn baby problem. My baby has decided she doesn't want to eat, not entirely true she will gladly eat any bread product and she will usually eat yogurt. But we took her to the doctor for her well visit last week and she had dropped from the 15th percentile for weight to the 2nd percentile. I have to start taking her back every couple weeks for weight checks until we get her to start gaining weight, but she won't eat. When she was a month old, I had to take her in for the weight checks every week, so this is a recurring problem. I have been able to start her on whole cow's milk, which she actually drinks until she decides to amuse herself by throwing it on the floor (thinking about duct taping it to her hand).
She will happily eat fruit, but is rejecting any type of pasta, bean, tofu, vegetable that I give her. So I need to get creative. She won't eat scrambled eggs or meat. I don't know if these are texture issues or if this is just her trying to assert control. She is just over one and due to allergy issues cannot have any nuts, fish, or strawberries. If you have any ideas/suggestions of foods that I could try, please let me know. I need to get this kid to gain some weight. Thanks!

75% off paint supplies @ Home Depot

Wow, a deal my husband was actually excited for me to share with him.
Right now there is a fantastic deal online at Home Depot on BEHR paintbrushes, rollers, and trays. This includes free shipping. Use code BEHR75 at checkout to receive 75% off the listed prices. This makes a 3 pack of pro grade rollers about $2.50, which is a great price. We have three more rooms in the house to paint, so we got enough to complete these rooms.
Thanks so much to Living Rich with Coupons for sharing this deal.

Also be sure to shop through ShopatHome to receive 6% cash back.

Bibliophiles, This One is For You!

Wow, this is a fantastic Groupon today. It is $10 for a $20 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble. This can be used online and in-store. Follow this link to get to this deal. I am not sure if it will be offered on future days or how long it will last. The Groupon does need to be used before April of this year or the value of the certificate reduces to $10.
Barnes and Noble offers free shipping on purchases over $25. Also be sure to enroll in the free Barnes and Noble Kids Club, this provides you with a reward as you spend a certain amount, discounted prices on children's books, and a free birthday cupcake and digital book.

Yum! Cookies! $7 for $25 at David's Cookies

Deal Pulp has a deal today for $12 for $25 worth of cookies, brownies, etc. The nice thing is that shipping appears to be $4.95 for 2 day shipping; this is so much better than so many other places shipping food. This is a great gift idea for Valentine's Day or a birthday or just a special treat. They do have quite a few options in the $20-$25 range, including the TRue Love Brownie Pail, 1 lb. tin of cookies, and a crumbcake.

A Great Way to Buy Those Expensive Beauty Products

There are so many of these daily deal sites now it's hard to keep track of all of the deals each day.
Today there is a deal from Plum District for a $50 gift certificate for $25 to This site offers a wide array of beauty products, offers free shipping, and they include free samples in your package. This is a great way to get half off of some of those supplies that rarely go on sale.
